Your information

This is what daneshelford.com collects, why, and what happens to it.

What's collected

• Your email address, when you join the newsletter or a waitlist, or buy a course.
• If you buy a course: which course, what you paid, and how far through each lesson you've got, so you can pick up where you left off and I can see which lessons need work.
• How the site is used, through Google Analytics, including pages visited and the rough location and device they were visited from.

Your card details never reach this site. They go straight to Stripe.

Who else handles it

The site and its data run on services that may store information outside Australia: Vercel (the site), Supabase (the database), SendGrid (email), Cloudflare (lesson videos), Stripe and Link (payments), and Google (analytics). They handle it to provide those services. Your information isn't sold to anyone.

Emails

Every newsletter and waitlist email has an unsubscribe link. If you buy a course, you'll still get emails about that course, like your sign in links.

Seeing or deleting your information

Email dane@daneshelford.com to see what's held about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Payment records are kept for as long as the tax rules require. If you think your privacy has been mishandled, tell me first, and you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
