Terms

Course terms

These cover any course you buy at daneshelford.com. They're written to be read, so if something isn't clear, email dane@daneshelford.com.

What you're buying

A self paced online course: videos, written steps and files that show you how to do the job yourself. You're not buying software or a service from me, and nobody does the work for you. Any tools the course uses are paid for separately and are listed on the course page.

Your access

You sign in at daneshelford.com/learn with the email you bought with. Your access includes every update to that course for as long as it's offered. If I ever stop offering a course, I'll give you at least 90 days' notice so you can finish it and keep your copies of the files.

A course is for you and your own business. Please don't share your login or pass on the videos and files.

Pre orders

If you pre order, you pay the founding price now and the rest of the lessons are added as they're finished. If I can't finish the course, you get your money back.

Money back guarantee

If the course isn't for you, ask for a refund within 30 days of buying and you'll get all of it back, with no need to give a reason. Your access ends when the refund goes through.

These courses come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

Payment

Payment is handled by Stripe through its Link service, which is the seller of record for the transaction and handles the tax. So you'll see Link on your receipt and your card statement. Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Your receipt comes from Link.

The AI voice

Lessons are voiced by an AI copy of my voice, made from my own recordings and used with my say so, so they can be fixed the day a tool changes. The words and the method are mine.

Results and advice

The course teaches a method, and what you get out of it depends on your business and what you do with it. It's general information, not financial, tax or legal advice, so talk to your accountant or lawyer about your own situation. You're responsible for checking what you build and the numbers it shows you.

Tools change, and a step may look different by the time you get to it. Each lesson shows the date it was last checked.

Everything else

The law of Queensland, Australia applies to these terms. If I change them, the new terms apply to purchases made after the change.
